merry christmas!

just wanted to share our christmas card this year.  really makes me feel blessed to look back on all of the wonderful things that have taken place this year.  time flies, kids get older, i get more forgetful- but at least we all have each other!  i am so thankful for everyone in my life!

2 vampires and a boxer! the little ones wanted to be scary, but they all ended up with black eyes! they were all pretty scary looking! we had a great time... everyone ended up with too much candy, but they have all pretty much forgotten about it. except jama, she is still talking about the gigantic hershey bar that nanny got her. makes me think of how much granny loved her hershey bars, now jama is following in her footsteps! i love it! hope everyone has a happy halloween!

taking this little gal's pics is truly a treat. all i need is about 5 minutes and we are done. i usually just chase her around- wish i had the energy of a 5 year old! and listen to her giggle because roxi is chasing her around our front yard! she is a pro at having her picture taken. a true beauty with the sweetest voice! she also happens to be my son, Jack's, girlfriend! gotta love that!

here is roxi. our 9 month old fox red lab. she is such a little beauty (aside from the grass hanging out of her mouth)! she has chewed up a few of jack's wrestlers, but other than that, she has been the best little puppy. she makes me laugh and smile every day! she is such a sweetie!

Soccer Time!

i know that i haven't blogged for awhile.... school started for all 3 of the chitlens and we have had many activities keeping our evenings busy. soccer being one of them! both jama and jake decided to give it a try this year. they are loving it. lots of running, but they don't seem to mind. they are hanging out with their friends and getting some serious exercise in! makes me tired just watching them. thought i would post a couple of pics of the cuties in their soccer attire!

Coors & Bobby

It has taken me over a week to have the courage to post these pics, but here they are. For those who know us, our dogs are family to us. We had the unfortunate duty to send two of our beloved dogs to heaven last week. Coors was 10 years old-loved rocks- we picked him out when he was only 1 day old. He spent his first year at Purdue with us. He was very layed back, unless there were tennis balls or rocks involved. He was our first "baby", but very much Scott's dog. He was as loyal as they come. He fathered two litters of pups- which my brother has a yellow male, Gunnar. Bobby was 9 years old- he was very much my dog. He had such a sweet face and was so loving, unless you were the UPS man. He was very protective of me. He had elbow dysplasia since he was 2. He had trouble getting around most of the time, and boy did he love to take rides in the golf cart! Our house is not the same- it seems so empty. We are not the same, but we are thankful for the time that we had them in our lives. They are no longer in pain and most importantly, they are together. Coon Dog is lost without them and Roxi misses her best friend, Bobby. They will truly be missed. Sweet Dreams, my baby boys.

Little Mr. Milroy

It is official~ Jack is Little Mr. Milroy! He raised over $200 for the MEDC! We are so excited for him! He is sooo looking forward to riding in the convertible in the parade on Saturday! Way to go little man!

It doesn't get any sweeter than this.... My 3 chitlens and their cousin, Ralph! They were striking a pose for a photo to give to their dear Nanny for her birthday. She loved it!!!!! Happy Birthday, Mom! You're the best!
